HI Vacation

I’m taking a quick vacation in Hawaii in conjunction with coming for a conference for work. It’s definitely beautiful here.I’m staying in Waikiki a couple blocks from the water. One would think it’s crazy expensive to do that (and okay, it can be) but because I took a room lacking a killer view (which is extra) not quite adjacent to the beach (a lot extra) it’s actually affordable. Before I leave I really want to try to do some things like the USS Arizona memorial, walking Diamond Head, and perhaps even deep sea fishing. There are no plans to go too crazy, but it should be fun.

I may even go get some sushi while I’m here. I’m hoping that because this is a different part of the Pacific I can get good sushi at a reasonable price in species I can’t normally get in Japan. That’s about the only way it would be worth it.
